A countryside community is rocked when the body of a teenage boy is found under the wheels of a tractor. Working together to solve the mystery of his passing, the boy's young friends endeavour to uncover the dark world that is lurking behind the innocent veneer of their quaint little village.

Rob attempts to raise the spirits of the gang by throwing a surprise birthday party for James. He is not in the mood to celebrate though and seems intent of unearthing a secret. Ruth is charged with supplying the ketamine.

It is Cal's funeral and all of his friends are not allowed to attend the funeral. Tina reaches out to Eli but he feels haunted by the changes he saw in Cal over the last few years. Eli follows Chris hoping to find some answers. Janine is still in custody and only Rob can provide an alibi for her. Rob is sent another video by his stalker.

Blackout must win the race if Jackie is to sell the horse and save the farm. Dominic's agenda has become increasingly sinister and inhumane. The police are still looking for the hugger however the tension between the investigation and travelling community has hit an all-time high. Ruth is caught in the crossfire, and her relationship with Dominic reaches boiling point. Eli deciphers a message left on Chris' phone about Cal, and he arranges a meeting with the sender - will he find himself in danger?

It is time for the yearly Warwick Farm pheasant shoot and Jackie thinks that it would be to cancel. James is determined to press ahead until Rob interferes. Rob puts James and himself in huge danger as they are drawn further into Cal's mysterious life as he attempts to find out who his stalker is.

James is in custody and the police force throw Ruth a party for bringing him in. However Ruth has her doubts that James is guilty. James uses his one call from the police station to contact his friends. He needs one of them to find out who the mysterious man is.

James remains in police custody but the investigate is not close to being solved. After the passing of Ian, Ruth is removed from duty on the cuddle squad. She has to face the reality she may never find Cal's hugger. Tina makes a plan to leave town.
