Evan the troll decides to burn his bridge and venture out into the world of Gothmoria for the first time to fulfill his lifelong dream of becoming a singer. He soon meets Brendar, who had been expelled from the Royal Order of Warrior Princesses and is now known as a "feared and revered" barbarian. After Evan convinces Brendar to bring him on her quest to vanquish the evil demon, they cross treacherous terrain to confront bizarre and magical creatures and encounter an eclectic puppet cast of wacky characters.
Brendar and Evan travel to Horus' castle, where the wizard hires her to defeat the evil witch who turned his daughter into an owl. Brendar chooses Axe as her payment, while Evan has to prove he's worthy of going with the group on the quest.
As the quest to the witch's castle begins, the group must pass through the ominous Swamp of Fears, where one's worst terrors are unleashed. Brendar is surprised to come face to face with a deep-seeded anxiety that will test her leadership in new ways.
The group arrives at the witch's castle for an epic battle of swords and spells, and a surprise admission from Stacey that shocks her father.
Brendar faces off against a Royal Order rival, but the result casts doubt about her ability to complete her ultimate quest.
Evan is forced to return to his parents' house to secure Trolls Passage on the group's journey, but it won't be easy since he already burned that bridge.
To get the dragon's tears needed for Axe, the group must first visit a magical marketplace, where Stacey's meeting with a witch finally reveals Brendar's complicated backstory.
In need of a unique custom map for their next quest, Brendar and the group attempt to wine and dine the only map maker in Gothmoria capable of creating the map they need.
After getting caught in a snowstorm, Evan accidentally damages the snow ogre meant to protect local villagers and is made to stand trial for his crime.
In need of shelter from a storm and desperately seeking sleep, the group of questers are welcomed into a mysterious house by a strange Colonel.
The questers finally reach Alvin's lair, but must first overcome a series of traps before Brendar can finally reunite with her brother.
Brendar's only hope to rescue her captured friend lies in swallowing her pride and seeking help from her enemies.
The true nature of the Queen's plan is revealed, forcing Brendar to come to terms with her backstory and consider a path forward that will change her life.
