In "Change Letter", a young man (Brad) and his girlfriend (Colin) are making out when her disapproving parents (Ryan and Wayne) walk in unexpectedly, with all "l"s required to be changed to "p"s; a disco "Duet" to Florence Henderson; Brad and Colin are two bakers on the night shift, with Ryan the incoming staff member, in "If You Know What I Mean"; "Dubbing" features Ryan's hunky pool boy tempts housewife Florence (voiced by Brad) when her hot-headed husband Colin arrives with a gift; Florence reprises Mrs. Brady in "Helping Hands", giving advice to Jan (played by Ryan/Colin) on how to attract boys.
Florence wins, so she reads the credits as Mrs. Brady, with everyone else as the Brady Bunch kids snitching on their siblings.

Ken Smith (guest star Pat Boone) pays a visit to Eric and Annie to accuse Mary of seducing his son. He threatens to sell the land next to the church if Mary doesn't break up with Jack. Simon finds out from Cecilla that a girl from his dating service is pregnant. Simon turns to her to try to help her. He convinces her (with the help of Det. Michaels) to drop her baby off at a hospital where the baby can go for safe keeping. Lucy wonders if Kevin has ever been with another women after she catches Ben reading her journal. When Ben picks Ruthie up from school, he see's a girl making fun of her and then she makes fun of him, which leads to the vice principal (guest star Cindy Williams) calling the police.

Stunt #1: Counter Balance Beam Contestants would have to release up to 12 flags from the edges of an 8-foot by 24-foot see-saw platform over 100 feet in the air. The two men and the two women to release the most flags the fastest before falling would advance to the next round. The others would be eliminated.

Meanwhile, Ephram is dealt an emotional blow when Amy disinvites him to a party in order to gain the approval of her friends; and Delia attempts to befriend the school bully, Magilla (guest star Bret Loehr).

Mike and Debi, a bright young couple, move in next door to Doug and Carrie. The Heffernans don't make the greatest first impression as an argument they're having can be heard throughout the neighborhood. Carrie feels that her job, as a legal secretary, and Doug's, as a truck driver, are insignificant next to her neighbors, who both hold professional jobs. She tries desperately to make a good impression on her new neighbors by inviting them over for dinner, but Doug thwarts her plan. Meanwhile, Arthur takes advantage of Spence's job at the subway by insisting on free rides.
