While out searching for Miles, Charlie is confronted by Neville who demands information on Jason's whereabouts. In the moments after William Lewis' death, Sergeant Benson is rescued by the SVU squad, but her torment continues. The Internal Affairs investigation of her actions is deemed inconclusive, and with no evidence to corroborate her story, Prosecutor Derek Strauss convenes a grand jury and calls for Benson's arrest. It's a race against time as they realize there may be additional bombs targeted to detonate. Meanwhile Burgess sits vigil for her niece whose life hangs in the balance.

The team investigates the cyber-related murder of a prominent casino owner's wife and receive help from the FBI's Cyber Crime Division.

Frakie Edgar brings in jiu jitsu black belt Renzo Gracie to work with his team. Daniel Spohn continues training at the house and Todd Monaghan holds a sermon. Then Spohn and Monaghan face off in the second preliminary fight.

Victoria wants to get nominated for an Oscar, so she gets her friends to convince Academy members to nominate her. Melanie is assigned a teen idol, Joy is assigned an indie darling, and Elka reunites with Roy.

Scarlett's breakdown is driving everyone to point fingers at who might be responsible for her condition. Deacon is blaming Rayna for pushing her too fast, Rayna is blaming Juliette and for forcing her on stage and Beverly thinks Rayna is only interested in seeing her label succeed. It always feels like everyone has an axe to grind with Juliette so she turns to Avery, only to find him preoccupied with Scarlett. During her moment of weakness, she is driven right into the hands of her nemesis. Meanwhile, Layla tries to convince Will to join her in a reality show.
