While both couples, Annie and Eric - Patricia and Morgan Hamilton spend a romantic Valentine's Day camping, Matt is left in charge of the rest of the family and allows chaos to reign in the Camden household. His preoccupation with his date and Mary's party allows the dog Happy to slip out of the house in search of her puppies. When a car hits Happy the family holds a vigil, aided by a caring veterinarian. Simon blames Matt for the whole entire accident. Meanwhile, Lucy is enjoying her first Valentine's Day with her boyfriend Jimmy Moon.

A Cardassian message is received from the Gamma Quadrant and Captain Sisko asks Garak to decipher it. Unfortunately, Garak informs the Captain that it's only a five-year-old survey mission. However, a while later Garak is caught by Doctor Bashir readying himself for a trip through the wormhole.

Xena, Gabrielle and the Amazons must battle an evil Amazon, who ate ambrosia and is now a god. She wants Gabrielle dead and in order to stop her, Xena and Gabrielle resort to asking for the help of the now immortal Callisto.

Stephanie and Tom decide to spend their honeymoon on a two masted sailing schooner named "Chance of a Lifetime" with Mitch, Neely and a bunch of teenagers. They think the trip will help the teenagers face their fears and problems, while teaching them some important life lessons. The teenagers are Benjamin who is very intelligent, Megan whose parents died when she was five, Trisha who has a sense of humor, Diana who has asthma and Randy and Terry who are stepbrothers.

Corky complains about the local dry cleaner; she plans to take action. Frank complains about Dana's delinquent son. Murphy suggests that he gets a job. Frank asks Kay and he suddenly becomes a valuable asset to the organization, as a strong arm man. Murphy, stuck keeping an eye on Danny has to take him with her to Atlantic City. While there, gambling fever takes them over.
