Stardate: 45832.1 - An injured Borg is discovered and brought back to the Enterprise where he is 'repaired' by Dr. Crusher and befriended by Geordi, who names him 'Hugh'. Soon, Hugh starts showing signs of individuality while Picard must choose between destroying him or returning him to the collective.

During a McClain gathering, Eddie is insulted by Shauni's father Robert. He doesn't approve of his daughter's choice of a boyfriend. Eddie ends up leaving upset. When Eddie returns for Shauni's sister Kim's engagement party, he guns down a man named Brown Goodman who bothers Shauni. Robert gets upset and asks Eddie to leave and take his present with him.

Murphy relents when Corky wants to throw her a baby shower and the guests that arrive give her the low down on child birth and children.
