For the first time in Survivor history, the game begins with a battle of the sexes. The eight men -- Ryan Aiken, Alex Bell, Rob Cesternino, Dave Johnson, Butch Lockley, Daniel Lue, Roger Sexton and Matthew "Mateo" von Ertfelda -- make up the Tambaqui Tribe (wearing blue). The eight women -- Deena Bennett, Jeanne Hebert, Janet Koth, Shawna Mitchell, Jenna Morasca, Christy Smith, Heidi Strobel and JoAnna Ward make up the Jaburu Tribe (wearing yellow).

To impress a pompous fellow actor during an audition, Joey develops an unusual acting method. Ross is horrified to discover who mugged him when he was a child.

Warrick and Grissom investigate the death of a man found at a foam party. Nick works on the case of a man found dead in his home. Catherine and Grissom investiate the death of a women who was involved with the aforementioned two men, all of which lead to Lady Heather. Catherine desperately tries to find out where her missing daughter and ex-husband are. Sara eventually takes over the case.

Grace has a girl's night in Brooklyn with Karen, Rosario, Ellen and new neighbor Julie -- and she offends Karen when she doesn't take her advice regarding Leo. Meanwhile, Jack reconnects with his childhood babysitter and falls back into childhood patterns, befuddling (and disturbing) Will.

With Eric still missing, Maggie returns to town. Carter tells Abby he wants to marry her. Weaver gives Luka an ultimatum regarding his job. Chen tells Pratt about her son. Sean Simmons returns with pneumonia. Pratt pronounces a derelict dead when with the paramedics, who later is discovered alive by Gallant in the morgue. Weaver has her purse snatched on the street, later the same guy appears in the ER as a patient.

Tonight, Ben Affleck promotes his new movie Daredevil.
Jon first looks at the new Osama bin Laden audio tape and Aljazeera's television crawl.
Jon then looks at North Korea's nuclear ambitions and CIA director George Tenet surprised reaction at this news. Jon discusses how this new development will effect our national security and North Korea's Taepodong missile with Senior Defense Analyst Stephen Colbert.
Jon also reports on the outrage against French products because France is against the war.
Finally, Ed Helms looks at government anti-drug commercials in a segment called "ad nauseum".
