Stardate 46910.1: As Dax walk back to her quarters for the evening, two men and a woman take her hostage. Dr. Bashir relays her situation to Ops, but the kidnappers are a few steps ahead. They're able to disable all of DS9's security devices and escape in their ship. Commander Sisko brings the tractor beam back online and lock onto the kidnapper's ship before it escaped the beam's range. Bringing the three back onto the ship, Commander Sisko is handed a warrant by one of the abductors containing murder and treason charges against Lieutenant Dax.

Peggy creates a cartoon character named Mr. Empty Pants, who bears a strange resemblance to Al.

Robin sets out to find Tony Zucco, all the while plagued by the memories of his parents' death and how Bruce took him in as his own son. Eventually, Batman finds Zucco at an old amusement park, but breaks his leg during the fight. Robin arrives, and prepares to kill Zucco in revenge. He initially scoffs Batman's advice, but realises that justice and revenge are not the same. Zucco is arrested, and Batman makes amends with Robin, stating that he wouldn't let Robin accompany him under the fear of Zucco killing him.
