Frank and a new associate Lara Means investigate possible child abuse at a small town's day care center.

Sabrina's psyched to get $100 for babysitting her cousin Amanda. But she realizes she's been underpaid when the little witch, who's too big for her breeches, turns her into a doll and holds her captive in her toy box together with everyone else who has offended her. Meanwhile, Hilda and Zelda need a break from each other, so (naturally) they go to a spa together, where they become rivals for a hard-to-come-by facial appointment that is supposed to make a witch look centuries younger.

SG-1 returns after a mission, but Daniel hasn't returned with them. They are all disorientated and in shock, so it takes them a while to reveal to General Hammond what happened on the mission. However, when they do finally overcome their shock, they tell him that Daniel is dead. But then they learn all was not it appeared to be on their mission.

Jack finds himself in trouble when a patient he declares dead is found with a pulse and is revived as Kate is starting to feel the strain of her secret addiction to shopping.
