Toby is unable to decipher his confused thoughts, but later he is shocked when he realices that maybe this man could be the key to his own mysterious past.

The final of the choir competition is held on the last day of term. Rachel has to try and deal with a vengeful Flick's father. Rachel finds her relationship with Eddie threatened by the return of her sister who claims she is carrying Eddie's baby. Flicks's father goes on the rampage after Flick gets a restraining order against him. Andrew decides against going back to Africa. As the school performs at the choir competition Rachel's puts her life in danger to save the school. Waterloo Road manage to win the final of the competition.
