In an alternative Wizard of Oz, Dorothy arrives to problems in Munchkin land, in Questions Only; Colin reports a Newsflash to Ryan and Kathy from a bodybuilding competition; Wayne and the gang don Afro wigs for a '70s disco Song Styles to Naomi, who works for UPS; Colin and Ryan combat nail biting in Infomercial; Scenes from a Hat are "if lessons in love and sex were taught in the style of Sesame Street", "Jeopardy! questions where the Whose Line contestants are the answers", and "bad things to say as you're about to kiss her".

Meanwhile, Eric is feeling low because he is stuck at home recovering from surgery and really wants to get back to work despite doctor's restrictions, so Annie asks the kids to help make him feel needed by going to him with their problems. Ruthie takes this suggestion to heart and secretly tells Eric how he should be helping everyone with their romantic entanglements. His meddling leads to chaos for everyone involved. Lastly, Kevin learns that Ben is planning to extend his temporary stay in Glenoak.

As Dylan, Rommie, Tyr and Harper flee from the Ogami, they encounter a ship sent from Earth to explore space over 3000 years ago. As the ship is a giant engine, it travels so fast that the crew never age. As the Maru has no slipstream engine, Dylan is faced with a decision that could change the future of the commonwealth. Can the Andromeda come to the rescue?

Stunt #1: Speedboat to Helicopter Ladder Contestants would be riding on the back of a speedboat as a helicopter flew overhead. They would have to grab on to a 20-foot rope ladder hanging from the helicopter and climb it. The two men and the two women to climb into the helicopter the fastest would advance to the next round. The others would be eliminated.

Andy meets with Colin's parents to discuss a potential course of treatment for the comatose teen. Amy is heartbroken and Ephram is furious when Andy decides against performing a risky operation on Amy's comatose boyfriend. Jess witnesses a car-jacking while jogging to work and she runs over to help the victim. She kicks one of the perpetrators and they run off. Jess then brings the victim to Holby where Robbie Waring also is admitted with injuries. Danny embarrasses Diane at the party which he persuades her to bring him to where Chrissie becomes the center of attention.
