Richard sends Cara away to excape the wrath of Kahlan when it's revealed that the Mord'Sith is responsible for the death of someone very close to the Confessor. But upon Cara's return to her hometown village, local townspeople put the Mord'Sith on trial for the horrific crimes she's committed in the past. With Cara's fate now completely in Kahlan's hands, the Confessor must make a life-or-death decision.

Sue delivers an ultimatum to Andrew regarding the future of the drama department and he responds by writing a school play with Miracle in the lead, leaving Helen jealous. Meanwhile, Sue discovers that alcohol influences Ennis' intelligence in a positive way.

After a near death experience, Dethklok are ordered to the Doctor's office. They try some home remedies to ensure the doctor gives them a clean bill of health. Their attitudes change when Pickles receives some devastating news.

Sgt. Hatred takes the boys to the movies, only to have a relapse after he discovers himself surrounded by young boys and out of his medication. Meanwhile, Dr. Venture goes into therapy with other former boy adventurers, but they soon have a crime to solve when their psychiatrist is murdered.

Still on Scar's trail, Kimblee figures out that he headed north and follows him there. When Kimblee gets word that Scar and Marcoh are on a train, he boards it by having another train run alongside it, but instead of finding Marcoh, he finds Yoki there. Kimblee is then attacked by Scar, and the two recognize each other from their previous encounter years ago. Before Kimblee can really do anything, Scar impales him with a metal pipe, and this leaves Kimblee no choice but to use his alchemy to separate the two parts of the train, with Scar on the other part. Realizing that something happened, the train's operators stop it and find the injured Kimblee, but he orders them to keep going. Unbeknownst to Kimblee, the real Marcoh is heading north on foot with May Chang. The two eventually reach the shack where Scar's brother's research is located, and they find it intact.

Dermot returns with the results of this week's viewer vote. Susan Boyle and Mariah Carey perform live on stage. John and Edward and Olly learn that they are in the bottom two this week and have to perform again in the final showdown. The judges then decide to save Oliver leaving John and Edward eliminated from the competition.

The boys' propensity to be ambitious but rubbish, means the possibility of electrocution looms large this week, as Jeremy, James and Richard attempt to build their own electric car.

On the track, the American Corvette ZR1, tries its best to compete with the German Audi R8 V10.
