Angel covertly comes to Sunnydale fearing Buffy is in danger after Doyle's vision of her in Angel. While digging for a new Cultural Centre at the college, Xander falls into a sacred Indian burial area and releases Hus, a vengeance spirit of the Chumash Indians, the original residents of the Sunnydale area. Buffy is busily planning a traditional home cooked Thanksgiving while people around Sunnydale are being killed and Xander gets sicker and sicker. Hus summons a group of warriors and they attack Buffy and the gang at Giles' house. With Angel's help they repel the attackers until Buffy finds a way to kill Hus. As they sit down to dinner Xander lets it slip that Angel was in town.

The Solomons learn about racism when they mistakenly attend a white power rally, then enter a poetry contest for elementary school students.

In an attempt to make Thanksgiving more enjoyable than last year's debacle (which we see in flashbacks), Dharma and Greg devise a plan to entirely avoid their families. When it becomes clear how much this has hurt everyone, the pair wind up more stuffed than any turkey after eating four Thanksgiving dinners: their own, one cooked (barely) by Kitty, another with Abby and Larry, and a fourth with Celia's family - who have a fight that top last year's.

This crossover episode continues where the Buffy the Vampire Slayer episode Pangs left off. After Buffy learns that Angel was in Sunnydale watching her, she follows him to LA demanding an explanation. But when a fight with a demon leaves Angel with new powers, finally giving them a shot at a normal relationship, the ultimate sacrifice must be made.

NOVA follows the building of a coffer dam and subsequent complete excavation of this remarkable site. Preserved were not only armaments and trade beads, but also a wealth of organic material-the wooden hull, leather shoes, and even a skeleton-that brings the voyage to life.
