When Eric and Annie learn that their friends, Morgan (guest star Dorian Harewood) and Patricia (guest star Olivia Brown), are facing a marital crisis, they draw on their own recent problems to stop their friends from making the same mistakes. Meanwhile, juggling her studies and planning her wedding leaves Lucy stressed, but when she confides to Kevin that she might quit school, he threatens to call off the wedding.
Also, Simon and Cecilia go to a G-rated film to try to avoid thinking about sex and get kicked out for making out. Ruthie tries to find Ben a new girlfriend because Mary wants to get back together with Ben and Ruthie doesn't want Ben to get hurt. Lastly, Roxanne decides to resign from the police department when she feels that her father was kicked out of the police department unfairly.

As the Andromeda responds to a distress call from a planet on the brink of destruction, the crew intercept a transmission from a ship returning to the surface. After seeing the message from Rev Bem the crew loads up to save him from the planet. As Rev is following the path of the Divine flashbacks occur of the Andromeda crew to help him on his way.

Stunt #1: Helicopter Boat Drag Contestants would be riding on a raft towed behind a speedboat as a helicopter flew overhead. They would have climb a rope hanging from the helicopter and release 6 flags before dropping 20 feet into the water. If contestants completed this stunt, they would win $1,000 advance to the next round. In the event that not everyone completed the stunt, the two men and the two women who got the most flags before falling would advance.

When a John Doe comes into the morgue... Bug makes it a mission of his to find this mans identity. Dr. Macy sets out to try to prove murder or suicide when a cop turns up dead.

Approaching the anniversary of his mother's death, Ephram confronts a repressed memory of his father cheating on his mother, causing an even bigger rift between father and son that eventually leads to a firestorm of emotions. Meanwhile, Amy grows concerned that Colin might not be recovering as well as everyone thinks when he gets violently ill on one of their dates. Amy tells her father who later tells Doctor Brown which causes the Harts to dismiss Andy from being their family doctor and causes a feud between Amy and her father.

The mold problem in the Heffernan household grows and Doug and Carrie find out to fix the problem will cost them $12,000! Doug, with his tail between his legs, goes to his father to ask for the money, but hits a wall when he wants to know why he and Carrie don't have it in the bank. When Doug has to admit they have no savings, his dad wants to comb through their financial books to see where all the money is going. This prompts Doug to limit Carrie on her "wild spending", which does not go over well with her.

Shortly before Horatio is set to testify at a high-profile murder case in which the defendant is the husband of a city councilwoman, he's given new facts that could prove the man is innocent. The information revolves around the discovery of a second victim who matches the profile of the first one and was killed in a similar manner. If the man on trial isn't guilty, then Horatio fears that a serial killer may be on the loose.

Alex's first day back proves to be stressful and Sandy continues to steal from the patients under the command of Sean Hunt.
