Kyle, Lori and Josh experience difficulties on the first day of school, and Nicole and Stephen receive a visit from Tom Foss.

With only five remaining contestants, Ramsay turns up the heat as the two teams merge and the wannabe chefs compete for the first time as individuals. While some take a trip to Las Vegas with Ramsay and get a taste of what it's like to own a restaurant at the Red Rock Casino Resort, others let jealousy eat away at them. As the show opens its eighth night, the group must complete the dinner service together, but teamwork doesn't come easy for these competing chefs and one is put on the chopping block.

Mike heads to Pennsylvania to work at Wertz Candies, a 75 year old candy store.



He then goes to California and works as a tire retreader.



Finally, Mike goes to McConnell AFB in Kansas to help repair the fuel tanks of a refueling tanker aircraft.

Ichigo and Renji continue through the Bountou's cave. As they see Yumichika, they try to save him. But Ugaki and his doll Geselle, attack. Ugaki shows his true doll's form, and starts to attack. Renji decides to fight alone, because of him seeing Yumichika suffering. He releases his ban-kai, and Ugaki starts to attack chickenly. Ugaki is told to hurry it up, because something is happening to Ishida.He tries to do his final attack, but Renji does a new move and hurts Geselle. Geselle freaks out and starts attacking randomly. Geselle turns on Ugaki and kills him, and both die. After all that is finished, Ichigo finds the Bountous. Jin wants to test his new powers as the other Bountou and Ichinose prepare the gate. Jin tells Ichigo their plan and why they want to go to the Soul Society.
