A Las Vegas officer is called in to a fast food restaurant for a disturbance call. Next, a Palm Beach Deputy checks the welfare of person inside a parked vehicle. Lastly, a San Bernardino County Deputy responds to a domestic call in which the fight is in the street.

When Carly has trouble finding a date to a dance, Sam asks for Seattle-area boys to apply to be her date. When the gang is overwhelmed by the amount of boys who show up, they hold a speed-dating session. Meanwhile, Carly convinces Sam to ask Gibby to the dance since no one else did, but Sam becomes enraged when Gibby turns her down. Carly finally finds a boy, whom after the dance, she dumps for being so talkative. In the end, Carly and Freddie share a dance together at the Groovy Smoothie, which Sam walks in on. Upon seeing them, she silently leaves.

The weather becomes nasty in Knob Haven and the school gymnasium is turned into a hurricane shelter. Things turn more chaotic though with Willard in charge of the shelter.

May is worried about Xiao Mei, explaining to Yoki about their circumstances, so Scar decides to help search for her. Ed and Lin are approached by Envy, who explains that Gluttony was a failed attempt at recreating the Door of Truth and there is no exit. Envy also reveals he was the one who started the Ishbalan war, before transforming into a giant beast. Meanwhile, Al gets Gluttony to take him to Father, who is apparently in Central, and Bradley gets leverage over Roy by transferring his men to various headquarters and assigning Riza as his personal assistant, effectively making her his hostage.
