A woman's car is run off the road and she is killed, but her baby miraculously survives the accident. Booth and Brennan go to the woman's hometown to try to find out who's responsible for running her car off the road. Bones, with help from Booth, takes care of the baby until the team finds out who killed the mother.

Indoors, Matt is worried about Chelsea's guarded nature, whereas Amanda and Shayne are laying it on the line. the rose ceremony finds one lady going home while the other two heading to London and a chance to with his parents.

As Ted prepares for his thirtieth birthday by getting rid of old stuff he'll no longer need, Barney and Robin struggle with the ramifications of their night together and whether or not to tell Ted. Barney enlists Marshall's legal expertise to find a loophole in "The Bro Code", a list of do's and don'ts for all bros, but ultimately decides he just needs to come clean. And in a surprise blow, Ted "breaks up" with Barney, realizing their lives are going in a different direction and he's tired of the single life.

Nathan and Haley throw a birthday party for Jamie. Deb hires a clown, which doesn't exactly thrill clown-phobic Haley. Lindsey returns to Tree Hill for Jamie's birthday, which gives Lucas hope that the relationship can be rekindled. When Dan arrives, Deb's mood swings fast and in the meantime Brooke and Peyton attend the party with baby Angie.
