Ash and friends run into Kenny who is having a special training session with Olivine Gym Leader Jasmine. Kenny is already preparing for the next Grand Festival, and this worries Dawn as she has not decided what her next step will be. Kenny challenges Ash to a battle and says that if he defeats him, then Dawn must travel with him. Who will win the battle?

The ten remaining couples perform once again time. After each couple have danced the judges give their verdicts on what they have seen and scores. At the end of the show the phone lines are opened for the fifth public vote of the series.

Alice, an old flame of Gaius', shows up in Camelot and Merlin is happy to see another side to his mentor. After finding out though that she is under the influence of a Manticore, Merlin has no choice but to tell Gaius of her evil intentions. Gaius and Merlin end up falling out when Gaius refuses to believe the truth about Alice.

The battle for the crown continues as the eight remaining acts step onto Britain's biggest stage for the fifth live show. Each of the performers will be hoping to impress the voting audience at home as well as judges Simon Cowell, Cheryl Cole, Dannii Minogue and Louis Walsh. Host Dermot O'Leary will be on hand to deal with the war of words as the judges give their views on each performance and defend their singers. Next time, one act will be leaving the competition.

Jordan attempts to rally everyone as the day of the inspection arrives. Jordan ids a bit worried though when he recognises Charlotte, the inspector. Jay is concerned when his grandmother is admitted to the hospital as he he lied to her by telling her that he is a doctor. Jay is able to persuade Ruth to do a job swap and pretend she's a nurse but things don't go quite to plan. Ruth ends up realizing that she still cares for Jay but before she can tell him she sees him kissing Polly. Jordan ends up offering to resign but has a chance to prove himself and the teams worth.
