When a Ouija board is used in order to solve a mystery where Ned's Occult Anthropology professor is stalked by a secret admirer's ghost, the board instead creates a new one that results in a life being threatened.

A man named Sylvester asks Chloe and her team of superheroes for help but ends up getting attacked and killed. Clark is led to former headquarters of the Justice Society of America where he meets up with Dr. Fate, Hawkman, and Star Girl.
