After beginning his Pok?mon journey, Ash is supposed to meet Professor Oak - a Pok?mon researcher who is giving Pok?mon to all the 10-year-olds in Pallet Town. Arriving late, Ash finds that all the Pok?mon are taken - all except for Pikachu. After a harrowing misadventure together, Pikachu and Ash form an unbreakable bond of friendship.
