Ripley

Season 1 Starts 4th April // Netflix // Crime

The Spiderwick Chronicles

Season 1 Starts 19th April // Roku Channel // Fantasy

Why you should watch it: A spin off from The Sandman, DBD is a lot more light hearted and accessible.

Baby Reindeer

Season 1 Starts 11th April // Netflix // Drama

Official Synopsis: "Based on a compelling true story, the hit 2019 Edinburgh Fringe one-man stage-play Baby Reindeer follows the writer and performer Richard Gadd's warped relationship with his female stalker and the impact it has on him as he is ultimately forced to face a deep, dark buried trauma."

Why you should watch it: Based on a true-ish story, that is still playing out to this day.

Franklin

Season 1 Starts 12th April // Apple TV+ // Period

Star Trek: Discovery

Season 5 Returns 4th April // Network: CBS All Access // Science Fiction

Official Synopsis: "When Commander Michael Burnham's actions start a war between the United Federation of Planets and the Klingon Empire, she is court-martialed, stripped of rank, and reassigned to the USS Discovery. This secretive and experimental spaceship has a unique means of propulsion called the "Spore Drive". After an adventure in the Mirror Universe, Discovery helps end the Klingon war. In the second season they investigate seven mysterious signals and a strange figure known as the "Red Angel", and fight off a rogue artificial intelligence. This conflict ends with the Discovery traveling to the 32nd century, more than 900 years into their future.
