Official Synopsis: "Jason Dessen is abducted into an alternate version of his life. To get back to his true family, he embarks on a harrowing journey to save them from the most terrifying foe imaginable: himself."

Why you should watch it: The show stars Jennifer Connelly, who after Labyrinth and Dark City, has already done some weird and wonderful space and timey-wimey stuff. Lets hope this is another win for her and us.

Shardlake

Season 1 Starts 1st May // Disney+ // Drama

Official Synopsis: "The year is 1536. Lawyer Matthew Shardlake finds his life turned upside down when Thomas Cromwell sends him to investigate a suspicious death at the remote monastery of Scarnsea. Why you should watch it: Sean Bean now has a line in his contracts that his characters are not to die (looking at you, Lord of the Rings and Game of Thrones), so he might actually survive this series.

Eric

Season 1 Starts 30th May // Netflix // Drama

Official Synopsis: "Vincent, one of New York's leading puppeteers and creator of the hugely popular children's television show, 'Good Day Sunshine', struggles to cope with the loss of his son, Edgar, becoming increasingly distressed and volatile.
