Pool attempts to unify his impaired staff while fighting a prudish corporate challenger (Jennifer Elise Cox) who requires control of the store.

Pool hopes a water stain in the store that seemingly resembles Jesus will attract customers and boost slumping sales. Meanwhile, emotions are raw when the store freezer breaks down, threatening the meat inventory; and Carl tries to be a proper father to his son.

In the season finale, it's "bagging fights" for bragging rights when Greens & Grains' proud cashier-bagging team, Richard and Buck, enter a competition against a boastful squad from rival store Super Value Mart. But trouble looms when Buck backs out of the contest, forcing Ingrid to take his place.
