After Shelby stumbles upon a rare historical artifact, he forms an alliance with Professor Sam Hyde of Southeastern Louisiana Univeristy. They realize they will be the perfect team to discover the lost history of the Swamp bringing together Professor Hyde's historical knowledge and Shelby's lifetime of experience in the bayou, scouring the deepest parts of the Swamp to hunt for lost treasures.
