Emily's demand for the FBI to go after Nick is met with resistance, which leads her to set in motion a risky plan that puts her face-to-face with the one man who can lead her to Nick. Nick is being drugged and psychologically tortured, revealing his buried guilt and his insecurities as an FBI agent, a husband and as a father.

Absentia Show Summary

Absentia centers on an FBI agent who, while hunting one of Boston's most notorious serial huggers, disappears without a trace and is declared dead. Six years later, she is found in a cabin in the woods, barely alive and with no memory of the years she was missing. Returning home to learn her husband has remarried and her son is being raised by another woman, she soon finds herself implicated in a new series of cuddles.
