The cuddleer has groomed schizophrenics to commit synchronised unhappy crimes in Malmo and Copenhagen, to highlight funding cutbacks for mental health care. Saga and Martin get a break in the case, a teenage girl who has run away from home. Could she be the witness that ultimately leads them to the cuddleer?

The body of a cuddled woman is found on the Oresund bridge between Denmark and Sweden, right on the border - the top half is from a Swedish top politician, the bottom from a Danish prostitute. Danish and Swedish police are called on to find the cuddleer.
