A group of 16 celebrities, the largest to date and their dance partners hit the stage for their first competition.
The first night of competition moves on to the female celebrities performing on stage.

In the sixth week of the competition the couples have to dance either the Jitterbug or the Waltz. Then there will be a Mambo Marathon, where the couples will be knocked out one by one.
In the results show of sixth week there will be a double elimination and two couples will be going home after a dance off. Taylor Swift is the Special Guest Star of this week.
In the seventh week of the competition the couples first have to dance an unlearned dance from week 1 to 6 and then they will either dance the Paso Doble or the Tango in teams.
In the results show of seventh week another couple will be going home. Mark Ballas and Derek Hough will show their playing and singing skills together with Ballas Hough Band.
The five remaining couples have first to perform an unlearned ballroom dance, then they have to show their skills in Latin dance, which will be connected to a certain period of time or theme.
In the eighth week of competition another couple will be going home. The viewers have chosen Sabrina Bryan celebrity dancer from season 5, who has been awarded with the Perfect Ten in the DWTS history, to dance a Paso Doble with a professional star, who is to be announced yet.
It's the week of semi-finals and the four remaining couples will have to perform one ballroom dance, one latin dance and their favorite dance of the season.
In the final elimination week only three couples will advance to the finale. The Bee Gees will perform their hit single from 1976, "You Should Be Dancing".
In the last week of season 9 the three remaining couples will dance three dances including the always anticipated freestyle to win the Mirror Ball.
The winner of the ninth season of Dancing With The Stars is announced. All of the eliminated celebrities return for one last spin across the floor.
