Mike heads off to Texas to work with an outdoor advertising company.

Later, he goes to Florida where he gets to work on the space shuttle crawler transporter at the Kennedy Space Center.

First Mike goes to the Mohave Desert in California to visit a fish hatchery.



He then gets dirty as he braves the untamed world of Vomit Island in the middle of Lake Erie. Mike's mission is to help band and count newly hatched herons on the poo-covered island.

Mike Rowe gets dirty as he forages the swamps of Louisiana in search of alligator eggs - 90,000 of them to be exact. It's a very dirty job that's helping to preserve the population of the American alligator.

Mike Rowe goes on a wild goose chase - literally! After traveling to the tundra, Mike joins forces with a team of workers that round up a flock of wild geese with airplanes.

First Mike gets dirty harvesting kelp to feed abalone.



Then he is transformed into a real life zombie by special effects artist, Toby Sells.

Mike rolls up his sleeves and gets dirty in order to help create an artificial underwater reef. Reef balls help to revitalize fish and coral populations in areas that have been devastated by pollution.



Then Mike goes to Texas to learn how to make soap out of goat milk.



Finally, Mike travels to Louisiana to refurbish frack tanks used for water storage.

He then visits a wildlife sanctuary in Georgia.

Then he examines dirty diapers at a preschool to find bad smells to be taken to a company called Microanalytics in Austin, Texas.



Finally, he teams up with a group of spray insulation technicians in Louisiana.

Mike first gets dirty at a famous barbeque joint in Georgia.



He then joins forces with a big animal veterinarian in Montana.



Finally, he finds himself deep in New Jersey sludge.
