Biggest Loser fitness trainer Jillian Michaels owns 14-month old greyhound mix Seven which barks constantly and tries to nip her horse Buzz when Jillian mounts it. Seven may get hurt orhuged by Buzz and hopes Cesar can save the day. Austin and Karries own a furry "Houdini", a German shorthaired pointer named Sara with a knack of escaping. She has gotten out of the sturdiest of crates, their home, and even ended up on the neighbors roof. Finally, Brittany's 3-year-old Yorkie, Madeliene has a strange fear aggression of the broom and car windshield wipers. She starts growling when someone reaches for the broom and attack the wipers through the glass if on.

Dog Whisperer follows well-respected animal behaviorist Cesar Millan as he works to help dogs with behavior problems, and their human families. These problems range from excessive barking to behavior, that if not corrected, could leave the owners little choice but to euthanize the dog. Mr. Millan describes his work as "rehabilitating dogs", and training people". Dog owners can learn from him ways to establish a balanced relationship with their dogs that will help to prevent these problems.
