After a car accidenthugs model Deb Dobson, she comes back to life in the wrong body of attorney Jane Bingum.

Deb begins her life (in Jane's body) as she takes on the case of a waitress who is fired for putting on 50 pounds. A man in the middle of divorce from his wife tries to get his kidney back from her.

Jane's next case that is coming up for trial again ends landing her in jail. Kim and Grayson try to get money for a husband who had multiple personalities, and doesn't have the correct personality.

Jane defends Bobbi (Debs mom) in divorce proceedings Grayson was asked by Bobbi to defend her now he is defending Deb's dad. Kim defends a dog owner who believes the pet cloning company did not give the dog owner a prize winning dog like the pervious dog.

Deb has something in common with them and she's about to defend they both lost the years in their lives. He was wrongfully imprisoned and was subsequently freed a decade later. Deb also celebrates the James 32nd birthday. Kim and Grayson take on the case of a man who developed a web site at gives married couples away to cheat on each other.

Grayson tries to get an obituary removed from the tabloids that prematurely report the passing of his client. Grayson hopes that will make his client happy. Grayson discovers that his client may need to be satisfied in some other way. Jane represents a mom who goes to court again for a crime committed twenty years ago.

Jane defends a mom because the daughter became ill while on the diet now they wonder if the diet guru Jillian Ford is responsible for the daughter becoming ill. Terri is hit with a sexual harassment suit by someone who used to work for her Grayson and Terri come to her assistance in settling the matter.

Deb must attend Jane’s high school reunion, Jane has to prove the gentleman who hired her to represent him is competent enough to go to trial. Kim and Grayson aren’t exactly sure what to do when they decide to represent a bride-to-be who may set precedent after suing her maid of honor because the fiance was discovered in bed with the maid of honor.

Kim is hired by Jane to sue a clothing boutique which refuses to sell clothes in plus sizes. Meanwhile, Grayson is on a case which concerns the daughter of a friend who ended up on a racy video.

Judge Madeline stone has been looking for some romance with the help of a match making service but Jane soon discovers that match making service was committing fraud. Kim and Grayson must see if they can figure out why two sisters who are both psychics wouldn't want to share in the family business. Jane must also figure out the reason for Fred's unexpected visit.

Jane takes on an interesting case of a woman who feels she was switched at birth. Jane's mom hopes two straighten out some of these issues and figure out why the client was led to believe she was switched at birth. Parker is about to go back in the court room again for the first as a lawyer for one of his oldest friends but before doing so he will need help in not being so nervous.

Jane may regret trying to save a model from trouble only to find there is more to follow. Grayson & Kim may wish they hadn't taken on their latest case after a widow won't sell her house because there are too many memories of her late husband.

Everyone awaits the announcement from Parker concerning the new partner. Jane decides to forget about Grayson and move on with her life.
