After learning that Shannon wasn't pregnant, Gene brings up the idea of adopting a child. Shannon doesn't want to have to wait a year to adopt a child though. Gene loses his little black book and runs wild trying to find it. Shannon attempts to teach Gene to think before his opens his big mouth to speak.
