Logan returns to the States on business and surprises Rory. At first Rory is ecstatic to see him, but after having dinner with Logan and his new business colleagues, she soon realizes that she's not a part of his business world. Meanwhile, Stars Hollow is covered in a bad odor when a train carrying pickles derails and Taylor refuses to pay for cleanup.
