Meanwhile, Jessa's boredom at work is interrupted by a surprise visit from an old acquaintance. Later, Hannah is assigned to review the Gramercy Park Hotel, and the group celebrates good news with Adam's new friend Desi, whom Marnie finds particularly captivating.

Girls Show Summary

Girls follows a group of 20-something best friends in New York. Hannah Horvath is an aspiring writer who struggles in corporate jobs and constantly battles her numerous insecurities, primarily her relationship with on/off boyfriend Adam and her strained friendship with best friend and aspiring singer Marnie.

Jessa has a quite literally addictive personality and has traveled the world, whilst her cousin and room-mate Shoshanna is just finishing her degree and recently lost her virginity to coffee shop manager Ray. Hannah's ex-boyfriend turned gay best friend Elijah also finds himself coming in and out of Hannah's life.
