Sara meets Eve, inviting her to Sara's own 'surprise' party. Much to Sara's dismay though, her so-called friends have bought her the unique gift of life coaching sessions with larger than life expert, Toria who gives her a dramatic ultimatum that could make Eve run a mile.

Based loosely on the life of Sue Perkins, Heading Out will star Perkins as Sara. Sara is a veterinarian who has everything going for her. On the evening of her 40th birthday however she is given a ultimatum by her friends, to tell her parents she's gay when they visit her in 6 weeks.
