A return to the cafe of Kate, a woman with strong views that she loves to share with Koji and her nephew, Medium. Kate is to be awarded a star prize.

Kate lets asylum-seeker Koji run the cafe, which he does all too well. Meanwhile, Medium wants feedback on the novel he's written.

Koji has an unpleasant experience which Kate tries to put right, with the aid of a World War Twoballoon.
