When one of Sam's high rollers gets wine thrown at him by an obnoxious woman while wearing his fathers lucky lime green polyester leisure suit, Sam promises to get it cleaned if he will stay and play. Later he learns that there is more to Las Vegas than gambling. The Montecito is testing a new 'smart' blackjack table that supposedly catches card counters and cheats, but one particular player wins every time he plays. Meanwhile, Mary and Delinda deal with a hysterical woman from Phoenix looking for her husband who supposedly checked into the Montecito. The husband is at the casino under an assumed named, but for a rather surprising reason.
