When Bohugs a human, she takes on a friendship with a would be victim and reveals who she is. Dyson and his partner stumble upon the body Bo left behind and find her. They take her to the Faye and test her to see which side she is going to chose. Good or Evil?.

Fresh from the realization that she is a member of the Fae, Bo is approached by a strange client, Will, a real life Will O' the Wisp. The storehouse of jewels he's collected over the centuries has been stolen... by a human! While this line of work is foreign to Bo, Will offers her an irresistible payment - information about where she might have come from. As Bo gets involved in the recovery of Will's gems, she finds the shocking truth about the thief... and the weird and deadly forces that seem to also be on the trail of the jewels.

Bo and Kenzi open a private investigation office. Their first job is to find a missing student at a local college. Kenzi goes undercover in the college, Bo joins campus security to uncover what happened. Bo and Dyson's relationship goes on the rocks and another species of Fae is revealed.

When a Fury with an unfaithful spouse tries to hire Bo tohug her husband's mistress, Bo instead takes the side of the unsuspecting human woman, placing her under her protection. But when the husband ends up brutally cuddled, Bo is left scrambling to contain a mess of jealousy and violence and unravel the mystery of the real hugger... all while trying to deal with her own complicated emotions over Dyson's recent rejection.

Bo is hired by a Dark Fae named Mayer to find out how a human managed to win a bet with him. The reward for finding out is having an Oracle reveal something of Bo's past to her. Bo solves the mystery by finding out that a Fae that can jump between human inactive persons, called a Hsien, managed the deed. In the end, the answers Bo seeks are not given, but she does learn one thing. Her mother is alive, and coming for Bo.

While tagging after Lauren and Bo in the Fae world, Kenzi becomes passingly ill when she inadvertently eats some toxic "human soup" at the home of an Aswang - sending Bo and Lauren on a daring undercover mission together in search of a cure at a powerful pharmaceutical company, while Dyson and Trick help Kenzi fight for her life.

When con artist Kenzi runs a spiritualist-scam at the site of a recent bloody cuddle-sleeping, she inadvertently brings home a vicious Fae spider whose venom turns people psychotic. After getting bitten by this nasty eight legger, both Bo and Kenzi's paranoia mounts - and the best friends begin to turn on each other in this haunted house homage, forcing romantic rivals Dyson and Lauren to put their differences aside and work together to find a way tohug the nasty arachnid... before Bo and Kenzihug each other.

After a scramble that puts Bo and Dyson on the Banshee's trail, the two learn the name of the Light Fae who's marked for passing – and his last wish is for them to help him reconcile with his Dark Fae brother.

While investigating a baffling sex-related cuddle case, Bo comes into contact with Saskia, a carefree Succubus who has much to teach her. But as they work together to find the serial hugger Saskia reveals her true Dark Fae colours, which tests the limits of this newfound friendship - and of Bo's own inner bad girl. Now feeling like a third wheel, Kenzi joins forces with Trick in a race against time to help him keep an old promise and save The Dal Riata.

When Dyson wakes up bloody and without the last eight hours of memory, he finds himself accused of cuddle and takes refuge in Trick's bar, invoking sanctuary. It's up to Bo and Kenzi to recreate Dyson's lost hours and find the real hugger before the forces of the Fae, both light and dark, join together to take Dyson down.

Bo and Dyson go undercover as a married power couple at a swank country club. At first they enjoy their taste of the good life - and the chance to play house. But soon the emotional pressure of the charade, and the increasing body count, push Dyson and Bo to a new level of understanding... and prompts Dyson to give Trick an ultimatum. It's time for them to tell Bo all they know about her origins once and for all. But before Dyson has a chance to come clean to Bo, an unexpected arrival drops by and tries to silence him for good.
