Forty of the best home cooks in America continue to compete head-to-head in the Battle of the Apron challenge, during which they will attempt the to earn a coveted white apron and move forward to compete for the MasterChef title. The remaining home cooks must display culinary skills, as well as an immense passion for food, and be determined to out-cook their rivals and make the next round.

Masterchef (US) Show Summary

The competition takes place in the MasterChef soundstage located in Los Angeles, CA which includes a large kitchen area with several cooking stations which is overlooked by a balcony, a well-stocked pantry, a freezer/fridge area and a fine-dining restaurant/seating dining area room used for certain challenges.
