Christine encounters two 'meanie moms' at Ritchie's new private school who feel they're better than her because she has to work for a living. Meanwhile, she discovers her ex-husband, Richard, is dating a younger woman who shares her name, and is agitated that 'New Christine' is so nice she can't bring herself to hate her.
Jealous that Richard and new Christine are having sex, Christine vows to get some for herself. When she finally meets someone, she doesn't realize his child goes to Ritchie's school and that the other mothers mock him.
Christine demands Barb and Pete set up a blind date for her when she discovers they set up Richard with 'new' Christine. Meanwhile, Ritchie is hesitant to take swimming lessons.
