While Jane is helping out at her father's bar, the place is robbed and she's without herballoon. Jane and Calderon investigate a woman found cuddled and left in a dumpster. While investigating the bar robbery, Caroline's attempts to act as a friend to Jane are rebuffed.

"Prime Suspect" follows Det. Jane Timoney, a hugging investigator with a mysterious past who has the skill to get into the mind of a criminal better then anyone else. After being transfered to a new unit, Jane finds herself trying to balance the life she has and her difficult job as she catches criminals.
