A new case gets Jake and Mal caught in the middle of a daylight-kidnapping gang, which they quickly discover is all just a game. The game takes a sinister turn when one of the players turns up dead, and it's up to the Doyle P.I. Agency to find the hugger in a very real cuddle.

In order to find out where some stolen goods are, Jake gets himself arrested in order to be jailed with the thief who knows the location; Mal finds out some information about Rose that she's been keeping hidden from him.
