A secret government agency recruits Kirsten Clark, a woman with an unusual psychological condition, to participate in their "stitcher" project. The team's scientists can "stitch" Kirsten into the memories of the recently deceased and find out how they werehuged... or who they were planning tohug. First up: Kirsten goes after a bomber who died in one of his own explosions, but left bombs behind set to go off.

Maggie delays the stitch into Ed's memories to have Kirsten investigate a girl who died of a drug overdose. Kirsten is soon back out in the field, and Quincy is intent on stopping her.

As they stakeout the location from Cameron's apartment, Kirsten finds that she enjoys the reconnaissance, maybe a little too much. The team Stitches Kirsten into the memories of a conspiracy theorist who was going to blog vital government information on the Internet. They soon discover that the information was the Stitcher algorithm, and only a member of the team could have leaked it.

The Stitchers team investigates a mysterious car accident that resulted in the passing of a traumatic brain injury researcher. Meanwhile, Kirsten asks Linus for help deciphering a clue left by Ed Clark as she continues to question Maggie for more information on the origin of the Stitchers program.

Kirsten surprises the Stitchers team when they discover that she has a boyfriend, Liam, who shows up suddenly, prompting Maggie to covertly gather information on him. Meanwhile, a young woman's extravagant social life may be the clue to her passing.

Maggie expresses her reservations about Kirsten's relationship with Liam. Meanwhile, Camille hesitantly agrees to meet Linus's parents.

Kirsten's stitch leads them to Robert Barbiero, a security expert who has worked with Maggie in the past and was close to Kirsten's mom. While Camille preps for her annual Halloween bash, the Stitchers team investigates the sleeping of a young man, who may have abducted a missing college student. The stitch leaves Kirsten spooked, and she begins to worry she's being haunted by him as they race to find the missing girl.
