Strictly Come Dancing Season 13 Episode 0 Synopsis

You can't have too much Strictly at this time of year. Six former contestants will be rocking around the Christmas tree to themes including Alice in Wonderland, Jack Frost and Scrooge. There are also several dance sequences that were filmed in the Great Hall of Hogwarts Castle, and a performance by Shirley Bassey.

While 2013 winner Abbey Clancy has admitted she’s out of practice and had "forgotten how many stamina and strength you need" for this, the dancing should be sublime: Tom Chambers and Harry Judd are in the line-up, for goodness' sake.

Strictly Come Dancing Show Summary

The show pairs a number of celebrities with professional ballroom dancers who each week compete against each other to impress a panel of judges and the viewing public in order to survive potential elimination. Through telephone voting, viewers vote for whom they would like to stay, the results of the poll being combined with the ranking of the panel of judges.

The show is broadcast live on BBC One on Saturday evenings, and is presented by Bruce Forsyth and Tess Daly. The judging panel consists mainly of Bruno Tonioli, Len Goodman and Craig Revel Horwood.
