The Games People Play (1) Summary

In the sixteenth week of the Apprentice job interview, the final three candidates are faced with actual interviews - not by Mr. Trump, but by top executives from four of America's largest corporations. These executives see little potential in Craig, who is fired on the spot. Immediatley, Kendra and Tana are given their final tasks: Kendra is to run a video game tournament sponsored by Best Buy, while Tana is to operate the NYC 2012 Athlete Challenge, part of New York City's bid for the Olympic Games. Trump brings back six previous Apprentice candidates, giving three of them to both of the final women as employees, and the ultimate tasks begin. Kendra faces trouble from sponsorships, Tana deals with unorganization, and both women struggle with their hard-to-lead employees. Who will prosper in the final challenge of intelligence and business savvy?

The Apprentice (US) Show Summary

The Apprentice is the ultimate job interview, where Americans compete in a series of rigorous business tasks, many of which include prominent Fortune 500 companies and require street smarts and intelligence to conquer, in order to show Donald Trump, the boss, that they are the best candidate for his companies.

In each episode, the losing team is sent to the boardroom, where Trump and his associates, Carolyn Kepcher and George Ross, and later, his children, Donald Trump, Jr., and Ivanka Trump, judge the job applicants on their performance in the task. One person is fired and sent home. Who will succeed? Who will fail? And who will be The Apprentice?
