It's Harlem Renaissance dance night at Hughes, and expectations are sky-high. But even the best laid plans go awry when a thunderstorm hits, tensions between the twins rise to a boiling point, and family secrets are forced to come into the light.

The Crossover Show Summary

The coming-of-age story of basketball prodigy twins Filthy (aka Josh) and JB who learn that even though they have so much that binds them together growing up is all about discovering what makes us unique.

Through his lyrical poetry, Josh narrates the story, on and off the court, as their former professional basketball player father adjusts to life after basketball, and their mother finally gets to pursue dreams of her own.
