Next, OPEC meets in Vienna and agrees to boost production by 1.5 million barrels a day in a segment called "Crude Awakening". Senior Fossil Fuel Correspondent Vance Degeneres talks with Jon about the effects of a gas shortage on the economy and the future possibilities on new energy sources.
Jon then brings us the Daily Show Books-A-Poppin' segment, an update about this week's literary news. First, The Joy of Sex author Dr. Alex Comfort died this week and Jon tells us a brief history of this revolutionary book. Also, Harry Potter will discover girls in the next book due to come out.
Finally, Lewis Black in "Back in Black". Monica Lewinsky came out trying to sell a new set of purses. Saddam Hussein's son won the election in Iraq with 99.9% of the vote. The Vietnamese celebrate the 25th anniversary of their victory over America.
