At the beginning of this week's episode, a huge twist is revealed by Dwayne Johnson. Then in this week's Team Challenge, contestants take passing-defying leaps off a building and climb 40 stories up an abandoned elevator shaft. Someone must attempt a daunting open-water swim through the ocean in the Hero Challenge. No one is safe. In the War Room, Dwayne asks the heroes to find their warrior spirit for the toughest challenge yet. And Charles makes a stirring plea.

The Hero Show Summary

At times during an illustrious professional wrestling career, Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson played the part of the hero. He was physically, mentally and morally tested on many occasions, and it's those experiences that he'll draw on as the host (and executive producer) of this competition series.

Johnson's goal is to find a true American hero, and to do so he challenges a group of nine ordinary individuals to face extraordinary situations. Throughout the series, Johnson serves as mentor and motivator, encouraging the contestants to reach far beyond their personal limits.

In the end, the one player as determined by viewer votes who overcomes obstacles he or she never thought possible walks away with up to a million dollars and the title of "The Hero".
