The final season begins with a lot of drama: Kristin, Audrina, Lo, and Stephanie head to Miami for Superbowl weekend where the other girls accuse Kristin of partying a little too hard. Meanwhile, Heidi shows off her new face to her family in Colorado but doesn't get the complimentary reaction she had hoped for.

Kristin heads for trouble as she plans to stop some rumors. Spencer tries to ignore Holly and Stephanie as much as possible.

Spencer upsets the guests of a birthday party. Audrina questions her relationship.

Spencer and Heidi upset everyone else. Kristin and Brody might have a thing for each other.

Stephanie is out on a first date. Kristin is mad at Brody.

While Ryan is away, Audrina runs into Justin Bobby at the Viper Room. Lo meets up with Brody's new fling Mikaela and Mikaela lands a job at Smash Box. Kristin and Stacy go on a manhunt.

Audrina meets up with Justin Bobby again and later tells Ryan about the doubts she has about their relationship. Lo invites Mikaela to Stephanies birthday party and Mikaela brings along an old acquaintance of Brody and Kristin.

Justin Bobby and Ryan meet for the first time witch makes for a very awkward moment. Allie picks a fight with Kristin, and Mikhaela gets upset with Allie.

The girls plan Audrina's birthday party and Kristin invites Justin Bobby. Audrina decides to break up with Ryan. Allie and Kristin get into another fight.

On a trip to Costa Rica, Kristin hooks up with a local, and Justin Bobby tries to get closer to Audrina.

It's the penultimate episode, and things aren't looking good for Kristin, who tells Brody she wants to reunite, only to hear that he's started dating someone else. Meanwhile, Heidi's mom comes to town with hopes for a reunion of her own with her daughter.

In the final episode of The Hills, there will be goodbyes, tears, promises, love and heartbreak. Kristin will have to decide if she's going to make a major change in her life, which may force Brody to make a decision about their relationship. Audrina chooses a new, independent life without Justin, but will that be the right choice? Lo weighs whether or not to take the next step with her boyfriend, and Stephanie, for the first time, believes that she's found true happiness.
