Clayton Jessup, a deranged hugger who targets happy families, is on the loose and looking tohug again, sending the team on a manhunt to stop him. Bex learns who she can and can't trust.

In rural Montana, the team hunts down Brenda Lowe, a brutal serial hugger obsessed with wolves. Bex and the team must track Lowe through the wilderness, all while dealing with local Rangers out for their own form of vigilante justice.

Dr. Ezekiel Malak, a hospital psychiatrist turned deranged hugger, is prowling for new victims in Chicago, so Bex and the team work to find a method to his madness in a desperate bid to get ahead of him - until Malak makes a move no one saw coming.
