After six weeks of blind auditions, three battle shows, two knockout rounds and two live programmes, the grand final is here - with just four contestants remaining, all eager to be crowned The Voice 2013 and win a recording contract. Holly Willoughby and Reggie Yates present as Leah, Matt, Andrea and Mike perform a song of their own choice and then duet with their coaches, after which the singer with the fewest votes leaves the competition. The remaining three then get their last chance to prove they deserve the title with their favourite number from the series. While the public votes, the coaches perform together one last time, Robbie Williams teams up with Dizzee Rascal to sing the rapper's single Goin' Crazy, and Canadian crooner Michael Buble takes to the stage. Last in the series.
Hosted by Emma Willis and Marvin Humes, the show features four musician coaches: will.i.am, Boy George, Paloma Faith and Ricky Wilson, who will coach only the most talented vocalists. The show's innovative format features three stages of competition: the first begins with the blind audition, then the competition enters into a battle phase, and finally, the live performance. The show's casting team is working with the music industry and searching the country for the best singers to bring to the blind audition process.
During the blind auditions, the decisions from the coaches are based solely on voice and not on looks. The coaches hear the contestants perform, but they don't get to see them - thanks to rotating chairs.
